生物活性

Hydrocortisone is the primary glucocorticoid secreted by the adrenal cortex. Adrenal glucocorticoid released in the stress response. Increases glucose production by gluconeogenesis. Immunosuppressant and antidiuretic hormone. Hydrocortisone has three times the anti-inflammatory potency of corticosterone but much lower Na+ retention potency.
