  • 生物活性

    Atazanavir is a highly potent HIV-1 protease inhibitor. Has shown to be generally more potent than the five currently approved HIV-1 Prt inhibitors. Atazanavir inhibited the proteolytic cleavage of the viral gag precursor p55 polyprotein in a dose-dependent manner, with a EC 50 of approximately 47 nM. Also highly selective for HIV-1 Prt and exhibits cytotoxicity only at concentrations 6,500- to 23,000-fold higher than that required for anti-HIV activity.
